We've developed many continuing education activities targeted to the managed care audience. Maria Todd, our Founder and CEO pioneered hands-on managed care learning through The McGraw Hill Healthcare Education Group in the early 1990s, and continued the hands-on teaching format with the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) from 1995 until 2009.  Since 1989, more than 70,000 healthcare professionals and executives have benefitted from the practical tools, tips and techniques she has shared in her classes and corrected billions of dollars in costly errors, oversights and inefficiencies. 

These days, many of her classes are offered through the Healthcare Business Institute, a new non-profit continuing education provider, along with other seminar and education sponsors.  Other activities are offered as privately commissioned on-site classes, train-the-trainer, departmental team building and skills training for leading pharmaceutical companies, device manufacturers, hospitals, health plans, colleges and universities, and foreign government ministries.

A core strength of AskMariaTodd™ is our expertise in the health care industry and performance improvement area. We have more than 30 experienced trainers and consultants in 24 offices across the world. Together, we have created a reticular web that covers every aspect of healthcare delivery, benefits management, revenue management, and emerging areas such as global health, personalized medicine, concierge medicine, ACOs, provider integration and alignment, biotechnology, medical tourism, healthcare reform, value-based purchasing, and more.
